St. Mary's Academy Charter School

Welcome to the 2011-2012 School year! We are entering our 11th year as a charter school and I am pleased to announce the school is Exemplary for the third year in a row. As the First Blue Ribbon Charter School in Texas we have exceeded the expectations that we set for ourselves when we applied for the Charter.

St. Mary’s in conjunction with Beeville ISD and Coastal Bend College has received notice that we will be a 21ST Century ACES learning Center. This funding opportunity will allow for extended learning opportunities to be expanded for all of the children of Beeville. It is exciting to be a part of this wonderful undertaking and I encourage you to check the ACES web link often for updates on our new exciting programming.

 

I am pleased to announce the new buildings for the first and second grades are in place and almost ready for the teachers to start setting up their classrooms. The new facilities will give the school some much needed breathing room and allow us to keep our programming from crossing Grahmman. The new classrooms will replace the small second grade rooms that were in use last year. The old smaller classrooms will be used for intervention, counseling, gifted and talented and meeting spaces.
