EMERGENCY DRILL PROCEDURES
Fire/Bomb Evacuation:
• You will leave by the designated door in an orderly fashion and proceed to the area assigned.
• You will not take anything with you.
• In a bomb evacuation you will not use any phones or electronic devices.
• You will return to class when told the danger has passed.
Reverse Evacuation:
• You will return to the classroom in an orderly fashion.
• You will remain there until notified that the danger has passed
Lockdown:
• You will remain in the classroom with the door locked.
• You will remain out of sight of the windows as much as possible.
• All outside doors will be secured.
• No one is allowed in or out during a lockdown.
Shelter-In-Place:
• You will remain in the classroom with doors and windows closed.
• Air conditioning and heating will be turned off.
• Stay where you are until authorities give the all clear notice.
• In case of a chemical spill, duck tape around doors and windows.
Duck, Cover, and Hold: ( Weather Emergency)
• You will move to the hallway in an orderly fashion.
• You will face the wall and kneel down. Put your head to your knees and cover it with your hands
• Stay as far from glass windows as possible.
• Remain in this position until the danger has passed.
